Do\u011frudan kayaya oyularak in\u015fa edilen bu manast\u0131r, Bizans \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu D\u00f6nemi\u2019ne ait olup, 8. ile 12. y\u00fczy\u0131llar aras\u0131nda yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f oldu\u011fu <\/span><span lang=\"tr\">d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir. <\/span><span lang=\"tr\">Mimarisi, freskleri ve yer alt\u0131 yap\u0131lar\u0131yla, d\u00f6nemin din\u00ee ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrel ya\u015fam\u0131na dair \u00f6nemli bilgiler sunan G\u00fcm\u00fc\u015fler Manast\u0131r\u0131 hakk\u0131ndaki detaylar\u0131 yaz\u0131m\u0131zda bulabilirsiniz.<\/span><span lang=\"tr\"><br \/>\n<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=&#8221;innerItemContainer&#8221;][vc_column][eltd_section_title alignment=&#8221;left&#8221; title=&#8221;1#&#8221; title_font_size=&#8221;13&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;30350&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; el_class=&#8221;innerImageContainer&#8221;][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;innerText&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B\u00fcy\u00fck bir t\u00fcf kaya k\u00fctlesinin i\u00e7ine oyulmu\u015f olan G\u00fcm\u00fc\u015fler Manast\u0131r\u0131, Bizans D\u00f6nemi&#8217;nde \u201cTraicas\u201d (Dragia) ad\u0131yla biliniyordu. \u00c7evresinde eski d\u00f6nemlerden kalma g\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f yataklar\u0131n\u0131n bulunmas\u0131ndan dolay\u0131 Osmanl\u0131 \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu D\u00f6nemi\u2019nde ise \u201cEski G\u00fcm\u00fc\u015fler\u201d kasabas\u0131 ad\u0131n\u0131 ald\u0131. 1924\u2019teki Lozan M\u00fcbadelesi sonras\u0131nda manast\u0131r i\u015flevini yitirip terk edildi ve yakla\u015f\u0131k 40 y\u0131l boyunca gizli kald\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=&#8221;innerItemContainer&#8221;][vc_column][eltd_section_title alignment=&#8221;left&#8221; title=&#8221;2#&#8221; title_font_size=&#8221;13&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;30351&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; el_class=&#8221;innerImageContainer&#8221;][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;innerText&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Merkezinde geni\u015f bir avlu bulunan manast\u0131r, yerle\u015fim merkezlerinden uzakta in\u015fa edilmi\u015ftir. Kare bi\u00e7imli avlusundan manast\u0131r\u0131n kilisesi ve di\u011fer b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerine ge\u00e7i\u015f sa\u011flan\u0131r. Avlunun kuzey k\u0131sm\u0131nda mezar odalar\u0131 yer al\u0131rken, g\u00fcney taraf\u0131nda ise \u00e7ok katl\u0131 bir yer alt\u0131 \u015fehri bulunmaktad\u0131r. Yer alt\u0131 \u015fehri, manast\u0131r\u0131n savunma ve gizlenme amac\u0131yla da kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6sterir. \u015eapel, yemekhane ve ke\u015fi\u015f h\u00fccrelerinin yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 kilisenin i\u00e7 k\u0131sm\u0131 Bizans sanat\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nemli \u00f6rneklerinden biri olarak kabul edilen fresklerle s\u00fcsl\u00fcd\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=&#8221;innerItemContainer&#8221;][vc_column][eltd_section_title alignment=&#8221;left&#8221; title=&#8221;3#&#8221; title_font_size=&#8221;13&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;30352&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; el_class=&#8221;innerImageContainer&#8221;][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;innerText&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kilisenin d\u00f6rt s\u00fctunu \u00fczerinde yer alan rozet motifleri ve din\u00ee fig\u00fcrlerle s\u00fcslenmi\u015f freskler, yap\u0131n\u0131n sanatsal kimli\u011fini g\u00f6zler \u00f6n\u00fcne serer. \u00d6zellikle Meryem Ana, \u00c7ocuk \u0130sa ve Vaftizci Yahya tasvirlerinden olu\u015fan freskler, Bizans sanat\u0131n\u0131n Anadolu\u2019daki \u00f6zg\u00fcn \u00f6rneklerinden biri olarak kabul edilir. Bu, Kapadokya b\u00f6lgesindeki bir\u00e7ok di\u011fer manast\u0131r ve kilise gibi do\u011fal volkanik kaya\u00e7lar\u0131n oyulmas\u0131yla olu\u015fturulmu\u015ftur. Bu t\u00fcr yap\u0131lar hem dayan\u0131kl\u0131 hem de korunakl\u0131 bir ortam sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan \u00f6zellikle Bizans D\u00f6nemi\u2019nde din\u00ee merkezler ve s\u0131\u011f\u0131naklar olarak s\u0131k\u00e7a tercih edilmi\u015ftir.<br \/>\n<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=&#8221;innerItemContainer&#8221;][vc_column][eltd_section_title alignment=&#8221;left&#8221; title=&#8221;5#&#8221; title_font_size=&#8221;13&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;30354&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; el_class=&#8221;innerImageContainer&#8221;][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;innerText&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1962 y\u0131l\u0131nda tesad\u00fcfen ke\u015ffedilen manast\u0131r\u0131n restorasyon \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131, \u0130ngiliz arkeolog Michael Gough taraf\u0131ndan 1963 y\u0131l\u0131nda ba\u015flat\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. K\u00f6yl\u00fcler, b\u00f6lgedeki kayalardan ta\u015f \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131rken manast\u0131r\u0131n giri\u015fine ula\u015fm\u0131\u015f ve yap\u0131n\u0131n i\u00e7 k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131 fark etmi\u015flerdir. Bu durum, manast\u0131r\u0131n uzun bir s\u00fcre boyunca topra\u011f\u0131n ve kayalar\u0131n alt\u0131nda gizli kald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6stermektedir. Manast\u0131r ve \u00e7evresi 1973 y\u0131l\u0131nda arkeolojik sit alan\u0131 ilan edilerek ziyarete a\u00e7\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Zaman i\u00e7inde \u00e7e\u015fitli nedenlerle zarar g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015f olmas\u0131na ra\u011fmen, fresklerin b\u00fcy\u00fck bir k\u0131sm\u0131 iyi durumdad\u0131r. Ancak, manast\u0131r\u0131n baz\u0131 b\u00f6l\u00fcmleri zaman\u0131n y\u0131k\u0131c\u0131 etkisinin kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda duramam\u0131\u015f, a\u015f\u0131nm\u0131\u015f ve y\u0131pranm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=&#8221;innerItemContainer&#8221;][vc_column][eltd_section_title alignment=&#8221;left&#8221; title=&#8221;6#&#8221; title_font_size=&#8221;13&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;30355&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; el_class=&#8221;innerImageContainer&#8221;][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;innerText&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">G\u00fcm\u00fc\u015fler Manast\u0131r\u0131 gibi kayaya oyularak in\u015fa edilen yap\u0131lar, mimarinin do\u011fa ile uyumunu g\u00f6steren e\u015fsiz \u00f6rneklerdir ve d\u00fcnyan\u0131n farkl\u0131 b\u00f6lgelerinde kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131za \u00e7\u0131kar. \u00dcrd\u00fcn\u2019deki Petra Tap\u0131na\u011f\u0131, zengin tarihi ve ola\u011fan\u00fcst\u00fc yap\u0131s\u0131yla tan\u0131n\u0131rken, Hindistan\u2019daki Ajanta Ma\u011faras\u0131, binlerce y\u0131l \u00f6ncesine dayanan freskleri ve heykelleriyle bir sanat hazinesidir. Etiyopya\u2019n\u0131n Lalibela kasabas\u0131nda bulunan 11 kaya kilise ise Hristiyanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n erken d\u00f6nemlerine ait en etkileyici yap\u0131lar aras\u0131nda yer al\u0131r. Bu t\u00fcr yap\u0131lar, yaln\u0131zca in\u015fa teknikleriyle de\u011fil, ayn\u0131 zamanda her biri, yerel k\u00fclt\u00fcrlerin ve din\u00ee inan\u00e7lar\u0131n izlerini ta\u015f\u0131yan tarih\u00ee miraslar\u0131yla da dikkat \u00e7eker.
