Konsolos \u00fclkesine d\u00f6nse de Vanmour ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131n sonuna kadar \u0130stanbul\u2019da kal\u0131r. Osmanl\u0131 d\u00f6nemindeki g\u00fcndelik ya\u015fam\u0131 resmetti\u011fi gibi saray ya\u015fant\u0131s\u0131ndan kesitleri de resmeden Vanmour, saray\u0131n i\u00e7inde tuvale resim yapan ilk ressamlardand\u0131r. 1730&#8217;da ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen Patrona Halil \u0130syan\u0131&#8217;n\u0131 tuvaline ta\u015f\u0131yan Vanmour, 18. y\u00fczy\u0131l Osmanl\u0131 tarihinin en ilgin\u00e7 belgelerinden kabul edilen eseri de \u00fcretmi\u015f olur. Portreler ve kabul t\u00f6renleri gibi g\u00fcndelik ya\u015fam resimlerinin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra eski ismi Pera olan Beyo\u011flu s\u0131rtlar\u0131ndan \u00e7izdi\u011fi \u0130stanbul manzaralar\u0131 ile \u00fcnlenir. Favray\u2019nin en bilinen eserleri aras\u0131nda yer alan \u201c\u0130stanbul Panaromas\u0131\u201d, bir s\u00fcre ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 Rus Saray\u0131\u2019ndan g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc manzarad\u0131r. \u00d6n planda g\u00f6r\u00fclen bah\u00e7eler Rus Saray\u0131\u2019na aittir. Eserlerinin bir k\u0131sm\u0131 \u0130ngiliz Saray\u0131\u2019n\u0131n koleksiyonunda, bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc de British M\u00fczesinde yer almaktad\u0131r. Abd\u00fclhamit\u2019in o\u011fullar\u0131na da \u00f6zel ders vermi\u015ftir.
