Arka tarafta kavu\u015fturdu\u011fu elleriyle ney tutan adam ve yaprak yiyen kaplumba\u011falar, tablonun ne anlatt\u0131\u011f\u0131na dair \u00e7ok say\u0131da yorumun yap\u0131lmas\u0131na neden olmu\u015ftur. Ressam, tablonun 1906 ve 1907 y\u0131l\u0131nda iki versiyonunu \u00e7izmi\u015ftir. \u0130lkinin boyutlar\u0131 222 \u00d7 122 cm iken, ikincisini 136 x 87 cm olarak daha k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck boyutlarda resmetmi\u015ftir.
